love these shoes: versatile, comfy, and they clean-up great. I
commute to work via motorcycle year-round. These shoes are
small enough to throw in a saddle bag and slip on when I get
to the office and ditch my riding boots. Also great for
multi-day motorcycle trips for the same reason. My only wish
is that the outsoles lasted longer; my first pair were worn
fairly smooth in about a year although they got heavy usage.
They do grip very well, so I guess it's a trade-off in the
compound. The insoles were in pretty good shape and the uppers
were still in excellent shape after a year; I'm still using
them for wearing out in the yard now that I've got a new pair.
This is a good looking, very comfortable shoe. I get many
comments from people who seem to wish they had a pair. Comfort
is the big factor with this shoe. It's like walking on air.
While there have been other versions of this shoe from
different manufacturers, I have always returned to Merrells.
These are still the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. |
