This purchase was
my 2nd pair of Merrell Chill clogs. The first was 3 seasons
ago. I wore that pair almost daily for 2 winters here in
Montana, this year the insides just gave out. I ordered the
smooth black this time because I wasn't happy with how quickly
the suede started showing wear.I love this shoe. Winters are
long and cold here and having warm feet makes a huge
difference. The building I work in is not very warm and
occasionally I'm in our warehouse on concrete floors doing
inventory and I notice what good support they give as well.
One of the few shoes in which my legs do not feel tired at the
end of the day.
I was looking for a casual shoe for winter that was warm and
comfortable, and this was it. What really amazed me was how
lightweight the shoes are - this is the first time I've worn
Merrells, after hearing my husband rave about them.
Wears this shoe: With jeans, when I want my feet to be
comfortable. I bought these shoes because they looked so
comfortable (fluffy lining) and I liked the style. I like
shoes that can be slipped off easily, but stay on my feet when
I need them to. Because of the suede-like texture, they seem
to pick up dirt and scratches easily, so I'll only wear them
when I know they'll be safe.Merrell Tetra Trance shoe. I also
sprayed them with a leather/suede protector to stave off water
damage.
Wears this shoe: When I know I'll be mostly indoors.
The Chill Stitch is so great: good without socks, warm feet or
comfortable with thin socks. Great for walking, relaxing etc.
Obviously more casual, but lovely with lots of outfits.
