I
bought these shoes because I have two pairs of Merrell hiking
and one pair of Merrell comfort shoes. I needed a black pair
of shoes to go with anything that were comfortable (I am a new
mom of twins). These shoes are fantastic. They are true to
size, were a perfect fit for my feet with dress socks and had
the same comfort I always enjoy with my other Merrell shoes.
Comfort is important when running after or carrying two
babies!
Wears this shoe: I wear it anytime, with jeans or black pants.
I have a pair of the Jungle mocs that I have just about worn
out for casual wear and was thrilled to see a dressier
Merrell. Not quite as comfy as the Jungle moc (due to the
strap), but much comfier than any other shoe I wear to work! I
am very pleased with this shoe. I was looking for a nice
comfortable, brown shoe as I mostly have black. We visit New
York City a lot and I wanted a stylish shoe to wear for a good
bit of walking. I did wear it there last week and it felt fine
and matched my brown outfit. I will wear it mostly with pants.
I have wide feet, and I'm short (5'0") so I never thought I'd
find a pair of ballet type shoes that were comfortable and
give me a little height! The shoes themselves are very
comfortable, although I agree with another review that the cut
of the shoe (not the strap, which is adjustable) hurts the top
of your feet after a while because it hits right at the
"knuckles" of my toes. Merrell Prague boots, Another great
feature is the antibacterial footbed that regenerates with
sunlight. Anyway, I just love the look of these shoes.
Hopefully I'll fully break into them soon!!
