they're great for walking around Manhattan esp. during the
cold weather. But the cleaning is a pain. The pair of boots
that I bought broke down after a few months. Haflinger Shoes
are better. These shoes are good for walking, but need
professional-style cleaning and sole repair. Great for
Manhattan trekking while still having style.
I think its good because it makes
those high fashion risk-taking shoes accessible to the more
moderate or average of income. When there is a sale that is.
