I was thinking to buy any of Merrell Chameleons. Are there any recommendations ? Anyone tried it before ?

I don't know about other Chameleons but I love my Merrell Chameleon II Strech shoes. I have found for my feet which are a bit wide these shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned . I just bought a third pair. They are like being able to work all day in your bedroom slippers. Although they have more support than slippers . They clean up well by spraying them with some spot remover and putting them in the washer. The only negative is that since the first pair the materials used do not seem to be quite as good so they only last about 18 months of everyday use. The first pair lasted over 2 years. They work for anything short of a formal occasion and are a great looking shoe as well. I Wears this shoe Every day, all the time except deep snow and formal occasions.

I wanted some comfortable, lightweight hiking shoes for doing some day hikes. These Chameleons fit the bill. There was no need to break them in, they were very flexible right out of the box. They are lightweight, and very comfortable. The lace system is outstanding. I don't think these could ever come "untied." I'll be going hiking in Colorado soon, and these should work well. I decided not to get the Goretex model, that is waterproof. I hope I don't regret that. I might spray them with the water repellant stuff. Also bought them for the Merrell name. I recommend them.
