I
bought this shoe because it looked nice. It was a start to a
Merrell shopping spree on Shoebuy.com. I have to wear shoes or
slippers on my feet all the time per doctors orders. When I
wear the Merrells my feet feel great. I bought these sandals
because i have always loved merrells. But, I am not happy with
the fit. They are so wide, my feet move around in them. I
chose this shoe because I had bought a Merrell shoe last
summer and thought that it gave me good support even though I
couldn't wear it much due to the "thong" style that I just
couldn't get used to. This Palmetto style was a slip-on so I
thought I'd try it. Merrell Barrado Leather shoes. It is
comfortable when I first put it on, but doesn't give as much
arch support as I'd like when wearing for a long time. But, I
like the feel and look of it, and get compliments on it when I
do wear it, so I use it for occasions when I'm not doing a
great deal of walking. I've gotten quite a bit of use from it
so far, and took it on vacation with me. It's great for short
trips without a lot of walking (part of the day is OK, just
not for wearing a full day).
I have severe heel spurs (3 in right heel and 2 in left heel).
These sandals are the only ones that I have found that are
comfortable and relieved my heel pain. They also have excelent
arch support! Thank you Merrell for these sandals and the
Jungle Primo that I wear the rest of the year!
Wears this shoe: I have these in 3 colors. Wear them all day
in summer.
